Deterioration.
It starts with a few words that lead up to a phrase. This phrase resounds in your head and continues to echo. Then begins the anger, this anger is internal so you will get hot. Once the anger sets in, the questions begin, typical questions of anger, questioning the phrases authority. Those questions of anger slowly but surely turn into questions of self doubt. Your self doubt is internal as well but your face says it all. This self doubt quickly turns on you and starts to chip away at your self esteem. You feel your heart drop with every passing minute. Your need for emotional support grows but before you can say something you come-to. You look at the clock and realize its been an hour since that phrase left the car and you’re just sitting there on the side of the 2 lane road, with abnormally hot drops of water running down your face. At this point your self esteem is in pieces and you wish you had someone to comfort you.
You sit there for another hour and deteriorate by your self until the water works stop or until you realize you need to be somewhere.
